This year may mark the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 5, but Jordan Brand has not limited the celebrations to just one year. According to sneakerheads, the Jumpman Label intends to roll out a prized treasure from the model’s range in 2026; we’re talking about the Air Jordan 5 “Wolf Grey.”

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

To say it’s been a while since the last release of the “Wolf Grey” AJ5 would be an understatement. The clean and sleek colourway debuted in 2011 and has yet to make a return until now. But come spring 2026, sneakerheads will finally have the chance to get their hands on this highly coveted pair once again.

Upon its return, expect the same premium nubuck upper in soft grey, with reflective silver accents on the tongue and midsole. The trademark “23” embroidery on the heel and smoky gum outsole round out the legendary design of this much-anticipated edition.

Air Jordan 5 “Wolf Grey” Release Details

Although exact release dates and pricing are still unknown, sneakerheads can expect the AJ 5 “Wolf Grey” to return in the spring of 2026 to celebrate 15 years since its first release. The pair will be available on Nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers.

But while we wait on more information on the coveted pair, fans of the Air Jordan 5 can expect more stylish colourways to be released this year. Expect the Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic Reimagined” to be released in February 2025, with the Air Jordan 5 “Metallic Gold” and the famous Air Jordan 5 “Grape” to drop in the summer. Until then, be sure to stay tuned for updates and remember to follow us here at Sneaker Fortress for more sneaker drops and news.
