Fans of the Air Jordan 6 might find fewer colourway releases to look forward to than admirers of other favourites in the Air Jordan lineup, like the classic AJ 1, 3, and 4. But this only makes every new shade of the Tinker Hatfield-designed shoe we bag all the more thrilling. As we make our way through an exciting 2024 filled with remarkable releases such as a reverse spin on the “Oreo” and the predicted comeback of the “Olympic” colourway, we can’t help but anticipate what 2025 has in store. Rumour has it that we might see the Air Jordan 6 sporting a stunning “White/Fire Red” combination.

A Closer Look at the Sneaker Design

Air Jordan 6 "White/Fire Red"

I’m well aware that we’re all still anticipating the long lineup of exquisite Jordan Brand 2024 Holiday releases, but let’s set our sights a bit further to 2025. After all, it’s never too early to budget our pocket money and plan our sneaker wish lists, right?

Well, the Air Jordan 6’s “White/Fire Red” release is one drop to mark on the calendar. While we don’t know everything there is to know yet, thanks to zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, we already have some juicy details to nibble on, including some mock-up images to stir up excitement.

The speculation showcased here gives us a sneak peek into the sneaker’s potentially captivating combination of “Summit White,” “Fire Red,” and “Black.” However, it may be worth mentioning that this brand-new colourway seems to put a fresh spin on classic colour combos like the “Retro Bulls” and “Infrared” editions, borrowing heavily from their palettes but giving a twist to its arrangement.

The general sentiment swings towards a “Summit White” leather upper with breathable perforated panels. Complementing this are “Black” accents gracing the tongue, liner, heel spoiler, and midsole, while the “Fire Red” breathes life into the Jumpman logos on the tongue, heel spoiler, and midsole. To round off this striking design is a translucent outsole showcasing a sizeable Jumpman logo, and don’t overlook the visible Air cushioning nestling in the heel.

All said, this new colourway is bound to make waves in the sneaker world come 2025. However, as is the case with any early discussion of this sort, we have only confirmed the colour names at this point. So, in all probability, the final creation could differ significantly from the mock-up you see here.

As of this moment, Jordan Brand has yet to confirm the release of the “White/Fire Red” variant of the 1991 classic model. Nonetheless, industry murmurs suggest it’s destined for a Spring 2025 release window, which pencils in a launch between January and March 2025. The expected retail tag rings up at $200 USD. Once released, you’ll be able to add it to your cart from Nike.com and premium Jordan Brand retailers.

So, if you are interested in getting your hands on a pair, be sure to stay tuned for official release information and images from Jordan Brand in the coming months. Until then, you can follow us here at Sneaker Fortress for more sneaker drops and reviews.
