Jordan Brand offers many beloved colourways inspired by Michael Jordan’s career, ranging from the iconic “Chicago” and “Bred” to the popular “UNC” designs. But even if green Jordans may not be as conventional as other colours in the lineup, it still offers a fresh and stylish look that many sneakerheads have come to appreciate. Whether it’s designs highlighting the Oregon Ducks or Boston Celtics’ signature green hues or more subtle shades like olive or mint, green Jordans should be essential in every sneaker collection. So, we’ve compiled a list of some of the most popular green sneakers the brand has created to encourage you to add more of this colourway to your rotation.

Air Jordan 1 Mid “Xbox E3”

Even though the Jordan 1 Mid isn’t a popular cut in the Air Jordan collection, it’s worth a second look thanks to this striking black and green suede design that Jordan Brand and XBOX designed for the Electronic Entertainment Expo (better known as E3). The design incorporates the Jumpman and Xbox logos on the insoles, the Xbox wordmark on the laces, and glow-in-the-dark outsoles that nod to the video game company below. Unfortunately, pairs were only created for Xbox staff members, and the resale values of these kicks aren’t what one might call wallet-friendly.

Without a doubt, La Flame has left his mark on the AJ1’s legacy. Since the rapper first gave the model his distinctive touch in 2019, his designs have been in great demand by sneakerheads. This also applied to his 2024 “Medium Olive” AJ1 low, which featured a combination of olive suede, sail leather, and vivid red embroidery on the tongue branding and wings logo at the heel. Even if it’s not Scott’s most sought-after AJ1 release, it’s still a worthy addition to the collection.

SoleFly x Air Jordan 1 Retro High “Art Basel Black”

Jordan Brand and SoleFly collaborated to create two special edition shoes for Art Basel Miami. One of the beautiful pairs crafted especially for the art show was this Friends & Family edition, which features patent leather uppers in black and dark green shades. The sneaker also includes embossed Wings details, special insoles, “MIA” and “305” lettering on the inner side of the tongue, and mismatched colouring on the profile Swooshes for a truly memorable and artistic look.

Air Jordan 3 Retro “Pine Green”

These Pine Green AJ 3s prove why green and black make such a striking combination on Jordan sneakers. The shoes start with black Durabuck uppers and the model’s classic elephant print overlays at the toe and heel. However, the Pine Green accents on the perforated collars, midsole, eyelets, and logo offer the shoe a distinctive and refined look.

Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 Retro

The Jumpman Label’s first-ever footwear collaboration was with none other than sneaker boutique Undefeated on the Air Jordan 4. These green Jordans, which drew inspiration from the military flight jackets of the MA-1, were only produced in a limited run of 72 pairs back in 2005. Since then, they have gained a lot of demand on resale websites, selling for more than $20,000 USD on reseller sites like StockX, GOAT and eBay. Thankfully, fans will get another chance to purchase this highly sought-after sneaker when the Undefeated x Jordan 4 Retro is anticipated to return in 2025 for Jordan Brand’s major 4-0 festivities.

Air Jordan 4 Retro “Wahlburgers”

Mark Wahlberg opened his restaurant, Wahlburgers, in June 2018, wearing a custom pair of suede green Jordans with detachable tags on the sneaker’s tongue. However, given the high demand following his public appearance in the sneakers, Wahlberg decided to give away 30 pairs of these kicks during a charity event in 2018. Pairs of these shoes are still available for purchase on the resale market, but they will set you back no less than five figures.

Nike SB x Jordan 4 Retro “Pine Green”

Jordan Brand and Nike SB collaborated to give sneakerheads a skateboarding-inspired version of the AJ4 silhouette in 2023. The shoe’s off-white leather upper is complemented by a light grey suede at the front of the shoe, but it’s the Pine Green accents on the heel tab and moulded eyelets that really make this colourway pop. This sneaker is still considered to be among the greatest releases of 2023, and it even merited a follow-up pair this year (2025) in a Navy Blue hue.

Nigel Sylvester x Jordan 4 RM “Grandma’s Driveway”

The Air Jordan 4 RM was undoubtedly a controversial addition to the Air Jordan line in 2024. Yet, the silhouette’s appeal was undoubtedly heightened by collaborations with BMX star Nigel Sylvester. Particularly striking is the “Grandma’s Driveway” design, which features lush Pro Green suede uppers with accents of sail and black on the sole unit. But this design’s most distinctive feature is the “Bike Air” logo on the heel tab, honouring Sylvester’s BMX heritage.

Macklemore x Air Jordan 6 Retro “Cactus Green”

This stunning Cactus Green Air Jordan 6 and a Light Redwood (aka Clay) design were the two limited-edition colourways that Macklemore and Jordan Brand cooked up in 2014. Only 23 pairs of the Cactus colourway were produced with soft suede uppers, milky semi-translucent outsoles, and an embossed shark emblem on the heel. Mac claimed in an interview with GQ that green isn’t used as much in the Air Jordan collection because Michael Jordan never really liked green shoes very much. Nevertheless, he was able to persuade MJ to go along with the colourway, and now these green Jordans are rare gems that collectors will pay top dollar for.

Air Jordan 6 Retro Pinnacle “Promo Flight Jacket”

In order to provide sneakerheads with premium, refined sneakers with unique designs and materials, Jordan Brand launched its exclusive Pinnacle series. Among the standout pieces in the collection is the Jordan 6 Retro Pinnacle “Promo Flight Jacket,” which features a sleek olive green satin upper and quilted quarter panels inspired by MJ’s iconic flight jacket from a 1991 Saturday Night Live skit. The shoe also has black accents throughout and a transparent, ice-blue outsole below.

Rapper Travis Scott transformed the sneaker game with his Jordan collaborations, including the coveted Jordan 6 Retro ‘Medium Olive’. This version of the popular model sports a Medium Olive suede upper with multiple elements not typically seen on the model. Think small pockets with a snap on the collar, Scott’s “Cactus Jack” logo on the heel and lace lock, and a translucent outsole that glows in the dark. Travis wore these stylish kicks on stage during his Super Bowl LIII performance, but they were also released to the public in October 2019 and included pairs for big kids, little kids, and toddlers.

Air Jordan 9 “Oregon Ducks” PE

Over the years, the Oregon Ducks’ distinctive colour scheme has yielded some pretty amazing Jordan PEs. In fact, the green Jordans from the football team alone could actually fill this entire list. However, we had to draw attention to their Air Jordan 9 “Oregon Ducks” PE for the 2024–25 squad. The pair’s white leather base is perfectly accentuated with bright yellow embellishments and glossy green patent leather overlays. This is a standout style for MJ’s ninth signature sneaker, and we’re sure many sneakerheads with superb taste in colourways will be keeping an eye out for it.

Air Jordan 11 Alshon Jeffery PE

In recognition of his Super Bowl LII triumph with the Philadelphia Eagles, Jordan Brand gifted Alshon Jeffery a limited-edition pair of Air Jordan 11s in 2018. Similar to the design behind Derek Jeter’s highly sought-after AJ 11 PE, this “Philly Special” boasts a green suede upper that takes on the Eagles’ signature shade. We can’t be the only ones who wish the former professional football player wasn’t the only one with these beauties.

Air Jordan 12 Retro CP3 “Class of 2003”

Although Chris Paul, a.k.a CP3, has collaborated with the Jumpman Label on some fairly incredible sneaker designs throughout the years, his AJ 12 design is undoubtedly one of his best. The basketball player’s high school alma mater, West Forsyth in North Carolina, served as the inspiration for this design, which features shades of olive green, black, and gold, plus an embroidered Jumpman logo on the tongue. The pair’s final details include Paul’s insignia on the right insole and the words “Class of 2003” on the left.

Air Jordan 14 Retro “White Forest Green”

Although the Air Jordan 14 is a highly underappreciated sneaker in the Jordan collection, this colourway from 2005 is one of the several that highlights its sleek and stylish design. The shoe has a white leather upper with the trademark perforations across the quarters and heel. But the real thrill comes with the Dark Forest Green accents on the heel and midsole. A true stunner.
