The WNBA has seen a rise in players with their own signature sneaker lines over the past four seasons. In fact, the number has grown from zero to five since 2022. Fans can also expect another design on the way for 2026 courtesy of Nike and Caitlin Clark. For now, let’s check out some of the best women’s basketball signature sneakers available.
Sabrina Ionescu

Slack Mamba is already one of the greatest three-point shooters the WNBA has ever seen. She’s also a big credit to the growing popularity of women’s basketball right now. Of course, a player with such a promising career ahead of her will have one of the most worn female basketball signature sneakers in the league.
Nike Sabrina 3

Sabrina’s third signature sneaker looks like a slightly reworked version of the previous model. It’s definitely a beautiful-looking shoe with plenty of chic colourways to sell to the fans. It’s lightweight, flexible, and has pretty good traction too (though not as good as on the 2). Overall, Sab and the Swoosh have put out another solid release, though it might just be a bit too similar to the second for fans to want to make the jump.
A’ja Wilson

A’ja hasn’t even turned 30 yet, and there’s already talk of her being the GOAT of women’s basketball. She already has her fourth WNBA MVP award, her third WNBA Defensive Player of the Year award, and is the only player with 300 points in a single WNBA postseason. Even with all her incredible accolades, she only got her first signature shoe this year, but it was definitely worth the wait.
Nike A’One

Not only is the A’One easy on the eyes, but it’s surprisingly good value for money. The shoe is comfy, has excellent traction, and is pretty durable (especially considering some of the issues Nike has been having with quality). It’s definitely a solid entry into the signature sneaker market for a women’s basketball shoe.
Breanna Stewart

Stewie is the real deal. She’s proven herself time and time again on the court, and her signature shoes have been just as consistent. You can’t argue with three Olympic gold medals, two WNBA MVP awards, and three WNBA championships.
PUMA Stewie 4

Breanna’s PUMA signature shoes aren’t as hyped as some other brands’ signature kicks, but they deliver where it counts: performance. They are comfy, deliver better traction than the 3, and, most importantly for this model, are wide-foot-friendly. The model has even had its first collab with Harry Potter.
Angel Reese

Angel Reese is the name on everyone’s lips right now. At just 22, she’s one of the league’s top rebounders and is averaging 14.7 points per game. There’s still a long way to go in her career, but Reebok knows she is worth investing in. They gave Reese her first signature shoe in 2025, and it’s selling like hot cakes.
Reebok Angel Reese 1

There’s a general consensus that the Angel Reese 1 is one of the best women’s basketball shoes on the market right now. It definitely delivers in looks and meaningful colourways, but there’s also some serious technology packed into that sleek design. Think EVA-style outsoles with two large pods of Reebok’s new ERS system, an intricately designed TPU upper, and a traction pattern very similar to the Engine A. In other words, they’re comfy, stable, and have excellent traction. It’s really all you want in a hoop shoe.
Caitlyn Clark x Nike

Nike has already confirmed that Caitlyn Clark’s first signature shoe is set to drop in 2026, and it’s definitely well-deserved. Not only does she hold the NCAA Division record for all-time leading scorer, but she’s also earned WNBA records for most assists in a single game, most single-season assists, and most games with at least 25 points and 10 assists. We’re still waiting for the reveal of her first signature shoe, but we’re sure the Swoosh team has prepared a good one.
We Need More Women’s Basketball Signature Sneakers

Even with all these incredible ladies and their signature shoes dominating the basketball scene, there’s still a lack of representation for women’s basketball players in the signature sneaker market. We’d like to see players like Kelsey Plum, Aliyah Boston, and Napheesa Collier (and so many more) join the ranks of athletes with their own shoes, especially as the WNBA grows and the focus on women’s basketball increases.
