The Oklahoma City Thunder team secured its first NBA Championship win since 1979, although that was so long ago that they were still based in Seattle and known as the Supersonics back then. To say their win in June has been a long time coming is an understatement, so all OKC supporters should be celebrating big time. Thankfully, sneaker artist John Trottier has created the perfect Oklahoma City Thunder Jordan 1 tribute sneakers to help you mark the win.
There is nothing subtle about this custom design. The sneaker is adorned in OKC colours, with white on the base, blue on the overlays, and yellow for the hindfoot piping and laces. Adding to the colour mix is an orange Swoosh design with yellow and blue underlays below.

Honestly, the shoe is a happy mix of vibrant colours, but that isn’t even the most flashy detail on the pair. The Jordan 1 is encrusted in tiny crystals that glimmer from toe to heel (quite similar to the Swarovski x Jordan 1 Low “Shadow” released earlier this year).
Thunder fans in the comments appear chuffed with this winning look, with comments ranging from what feels like never-ending fire emojis to exclamations of “SO amazing” and “Let’s go”.
If you’re an OKC fan looking to remember the monumental moment with an equally epic shoe (i.e., these awesome Oklahoma City Thunder Jordan 1 sneakers), make sure to reach out to Trottier via his Instagram page.
