Some colourways in the Jordan lineup are so iconic and coveted that sneakerheads wouldn’t mind seeing them reimagined on nearly every silhouette. We are, of course, referring to colour schemes such as the “UNC” colourway, in addition to Bred, Chicago, Black Cat, and many many others. As luck would have it, sneakerheads will be able to purchase multiple iterations of these classic colourways next year, including the much awaited “UNC Reimagined” style. Although the revamped release’s exact design details are still largely unknown, we’re certainly hoping for something in the same vein as House of Heat’s Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “UNC” concept.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
This stunning “UNC” design adheres to the colour scheme of the original 1985 Air Jordan 1 High “UNC,” with “White” on the base and “University Blue” on the overlays. However, the design has been reimagined with a low-top silhouette as well as a tumbled leather and suede construction for a more premium look and feel. The Swoosh has also been changed to a darker shade of blue, which we’ve got to say perfectly complements the shoe’s University Blue accents. Finally, the sneaker features a white midsole and blue rubber outsole, once again paying homage to the classic Air Jordan 1 design.
Is The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “UNC” Available For Purchase?
While this beautiful pair is currently only a concept, sneaker artist Jordan Diab can create a similar pair for you. Earlier this year, the talented customiser crafted a comparable pair of Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Tar Heels” in a blend of tumbled leather and suede.
However, 2025 will also offer sneakerheads the opportunity to grab the official reimagined “UNC” AJ1 colourway as well as an Air Jordan 3 “Lucky Shorts” design from Jordan Brand.
In the meantime, you can find more “UNC”-themed designs on our website, including an Off-White x Air Jordan 1 “Cloudy Sky” design. And remember to follow us on Sneaker Fortress for more custom and concept kicks.
