Nike’s decision to re-release the almost mythical “Wu-Tang” Nike Dunks has sent the sneaker world into a frenzy. And honestly, who could blame us? These sneakers are a rare treasure, with only 36 pairs ever made. Naturally, the hype around the upcoming drop has inspired a number of re-creations courtesy of custom sneaker artists around the globe. But we have to spotlight the Jordan Jumpman Jack “Wu-Tang” by John Trottier of @johnnyskicks_.

A Closer Look at the Sneaker

Trottier has skillfully adapted the Wu-Tang Clan’s distinct yellow and black scheme onto Travis Scott’s signature Jordan Brand silhouette. The base features black canvas, accented by yellow tumbled leather on the overlays. La Flame’s signature reversed Swooshes are then highlighted in dual black and yellow leather layers. And to crown shoe, Wu-Wu-Tang’s logo appears at the ankle, while Scott’s personal branding marks the heel. This pair is completed with a white midsole and a yellow outsole, perfectly capturing the full essence of the Wu-Tang Dunks.

Is the Jordan Jumpman Jack “Wu-Tang” Available for Purchase?

For now, these unique pairs are merely a concept and haven’t entered production. However, if you’re keen on turning this vision into reality, make sure to reach out to Trottier for details on availability and pricing. Or, if you’re feeling creative, you could try customising your own pair using Angelus Direct Paints.

In the meantime, why not explore these bespoke Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 3 pairs crafted in the “Wu-Tang” Dunks style? And, while you’re at it, be sure to browse more Jordan Jumpman Jack concepts by Trottier, including styles inspired by Union’s 2018 collaboration with Jordan Brand or even Travis Scott’s collaboration with Fragment in 2021. Whichever you choose, don’t forget to follow us here at Sneaker Fortress for more custom and concept kicks.
