Nike SB kicked off in 2002 and somehow managed to invent three things at once: overnight campouts, sneaker collabs, and resellers (yeah, those guys). Fast forward to 2020, when the Striped Box era landed out of nowhere and reignited the Swoosh’s golden touch. Now, it’s time to beg for a comeback in 2026. From the Dunk Lows that crashed SNKRS to the pairs that never even made it to cart, this era deserves another shot. Nike, the streets are ready.

In February 2020, Travis Scott sent sneakerheads into a frenzy with his SB Dunk Low collab. The bandana and tartan mix wasn’t just hype—it helped kick off the tear-away trend. Nearly five years later, resale prices are still wild, proving Travis doesn’t drop sneakers, he drops events.

Nike SB Dunk Low ‘StrangeLove’ (February 2020)

The StrangeLove x Nike SB Dunk Low hit shelves in February 2020 and instantly stole hearts. Designed by skate legend Sean Cliver, the pair swapped grip tape for crushed velvet, dripping in pink and red so smooth you’d swear Cupid worked at Nike. Love hurts, but these hurt good.

Nike SB Dunk High ‘Reverse Skunk’ (April 2020)

Todd Bratrud lit up 2020 with the ‘Reverse Skunk,’ a hazy rework of his 2010 classic. Dropping on 4/20, it flipped the greens and purples into fuzzy suede perfection. The insoles even featured the original ‘Skunk’ rocking a long white beard—proof that some legends only get higher with age.

Ben & Jerry’s x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Chunky Dunky’ (May 2020)

In May 2020, Nike SB and Ben & Jerry’s served up the ‘Chunky Dunky,’ a sneaker so good it gave everyone a sugar rush. With cow-print panels, melting Swooshes, and ice-cream-inspired chaos, one fan even ate from the sole. Gross? Maybe. But it proved these Dunks were dangerously sweet.

Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk Low (July 2020)

In July 2020, Nike SB dropped the Grateful Dead Dunks, and suddenly every skater looked like they’d raided a tie-dye concert. Marking the 50th anniversary of American Beauty, the furry orange, green, and yellow pairs came with dancing bears and a hidden stash pocket. As they say, Deadheads never die.

Atlas x Nike SB Dunk High ‘Lost at Sea’ (September 2020)

September 2020 saw San Francisco’s Atlas dive deep with the Nike SB Dunk High “Lost at Sea.” Inspired by 1990’s “Great Spill,” when 61,000 Nike pairs fell overboard, the shoe featured aged glue, cream laces, and ocean-worn hues. A sneaker shipwreck never looked this good washed ashore.

Concepts x Nike SB Dunk High ‘Mallard’ (November 2020)

Concepts cooked up something wild in November 2020 with the Nike SB Dunk High “Mallard,” affectionately dubbed the “Turdunken.” Inspired by John Madden’s infamous three-bird feast, it came stuffed with laser-cut feather panels, plush textures, and chicken-print socks. Forget the turkey—this was the real Thanksgiving showstopper.

Sean Cliver x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Holiday Special’ (December 2020)

December 2020 brought Sean Cliver’s “Holiday Special,” a Dunk that made adults believe in Santa again. Wrapped in icy blue suede with snowflake toes and mischievous elves on the insoles, it nailed that festive chaos perfectly. Naughty or nice, this was the only gift that actually mattered that year.

Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Street Hawker’ (January 2021)

January 2021 brought the Nike SB Dunk Low “Street Hawker,” a flavour explosion straight from China’s food stalls. Artist Jason Deng hand-painted six dishes from six cities onto one sneaker, blending dumpling shades and noodle tones. It wasn’t just wearable art—it was a menu for your feet.

February 2021’s Nike SB Dunk Low “VX1000” paid tribute to the unsung hero of skate culture—the Sony camcorder that documented every slam and trick since 1995. Decked out in grey and black tech tones, it was a nostalgic nod to an era when every skater dreamed of filming greatness.

In March 2021, Baltimore’s Ayman and Osama Abdeldayem of Carpet Company turned their screen-printing roots into sneaker gold. Their SB Dunk High hid tear-away layers revealing splattered gold panels beneath, plus cheeky fez-headed characters inside. Fusing their Egyptian-American heritage with Nike SB’s DIY spirit, this collab was pure creative craftsmanship.

Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low (March 2021)

March 2021 saw Supreme return to the SB Dunk throne with a four-pack of colourways that reminded everyone who runs the block. Reviving their 2003 faux-croc design with gold stars and premium leather, the drop proved Supreme’s still the king of skate luxury—no box logo required.

May 2021 gave us the Frankenstein of sneakers: the Nike SB Dunk Low “What The Paul.” Celebrating Paul Rodriguez’s legacy, it mashed up ten of his iconic designs with elephant print, Mexican textiles, and nods to 2007’s “What The Dunk.” Pure chaos, perfectly stitched together for sneaker history.

In May 2021, Daniel Kim and his label Stingwater took Nike SB on a trip with the ‘Magic Mushroom’ Dunk. “It’s a story about ‘groeing,’” Kim said. With spotted overlays, translucent soles reading “Plant emoji with eyes,” and a hidden stash pocket, this pair was pure sneaker psychedelia.

June 2021’s Nike SB Dunk High “Kebab and Destroy” from Athens’ Color Skates proved food and skating are the perfect combo. Founder Vassilis Aramvoglou seasoned the design with elephant print leather, warm pita tones, and spicy Color branding. Late-night skate, late-night kebab.

September 2021 brought two mechanical masterpieces: the Gundam x Nike SB Dunk High “Banshee” and “Unicorn.” Inspired by the legendary mecha anime, each pair looked battle-ready with panelled armour details and detachable Swooshes. Whether you’re a skater or a space pilot, these Dunks proved style and sci-fi can peacefully coexist.

Todd Bratrud, the man who made skate decks weird and wonderful, lit up October 2021 with the Nike SB Dunk High “Strawberry Cough.” A cheeky nod to 4/20, this fruity follow-up to his “Bubonic Skunk Dunk” even hid a stash pocket in the tongue. Subtle? Not exactly. Legendary? Absolutely.

Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Mummy’ (October 2021)

October 2021 saw Nike SB unwrap one of its best Halloween releases yet—the Dunk Low “Mummy.” Draped in tear-away “Coconut Milk” suede with glowing details straight out of a tomb, it was creepy, clever, and collectible. Inspired by 2019’s “Night of Mischief,” this Dunk was frightfully good fun.

In March 2022, Australia’s Pass~Port gave Nike SB a rugged makeover with the Dunk High “Workboot.” Built in earthy greens and browns with gold accents, this collab felt ready for both trails and kickflips. Trent Evans’ crew didn’t just hike the path—they paved it for Aussie skate culture.

Nike SB Dunk High ‘Oski’ (March 2022)

March 2022 saw Swedish skater Oskar “Oski” Rozenberg swap the Swoosh for a shark on his Nike SB Dunk High. Sleek white leather, toothy detail, pure menace. A kids’ Dunk Low circled too, proving everyone could take a bite. Stylish, bold, and a little dangerous—just how Oski likes it.

Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Polaroid’ (April 2022)

April 2022 saw Nike SB snap back to nostalgia with the Dunk Low “Polaroid.” Inspired by the 1937 instant camera, it featured overlapping tri-coloured Swooshes, reflective panels, and custom embroidery. The best part? Seven lace sets in gradient hues, letting you switch filters without touching your phone.

KCDC x Nike SB Dunk High (April 2022)

Brooklyn’s KCDC has been backing women’s skating since 2001, so when Nike SB handed them a Dunk High in April 2022, they didn’t miss. Pink and black suede, brass eyelets, and clear gum soles gave it that perfect worn-in feel. Two decades later, it’s still skating circles around the rest.

Frame x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Habibi’ (June 2022)

In June 2020, Nike SB teamed up with Dubai’s Frame for the Dunk Low “Habibi,” a heartfelt tribute to the UAE. Draped in red, white, black, and green—the nation’s colours—the shoe blended cultural pride with streetwear flair. The stitched “Habibi” inside sealed it: pure love, sneaker style.

October 2022 saw Skate Like a Girl roll out their Nike SB Dunk Low, proving style and purpose can share a deck. The Pacific Northwest collective crafted a corduroy-covered classic with custom art and inclusive flair. More than a sneaker, it was a quiet rebellion—built for everyone who rides.

Neckface x Nike SB Dunk Low (October 2022)

Neckface’s 2022 Nike SB Dunk Low looked like it crawled straight out of a haunted skatepark. The California artist went full chaos mode, slapping his trademark imps, skulls, and swords across black suede. Each patch felt like a love letter to black metal vests. Even the box looked ready for ritual sacrifice.

In November 2022, Nike SB teamed up with John Rattray’s “Why So Sad?” campaign to spread mental health awareness through skating and cycling. Featuring calm blue tones and a cheerful seagull logo, the Dunk Low reminded everyone that talking helps—and sometimes, a “sad plant” trick can spark real conversation.

HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low (November 2022)

Each pair carried heartfelt insoles—a fitting tribute to the visionary who kept skate culture authentic.
