adidas Originals kicked off 2021 with the release of the YEEZY BOOST 700 Sun sneaker. The three stripes brand and Kanye West have extended their YEEZY collaboration with a new sneaker. Enter the adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 Bright Blue.
The YEEZY BOOST 700 has received various variants and colourways since its first release at the Yeezy Season 5 fashion show in February 2017. adidas and Kanye have added the Bright Blue colourway to the extended range.
The all-new Bright Blue sneaker has an upper which is composed of full-grain leather, as well as suede overlays. These are premium materials offering a premium finish that is soft in hand, while still remaining supportive and durable at the same time.
In addition to this, the mesh panel underlays give the sneaker a lightweight breathability and comfort where it is needed. The upper is finished off with reflective detailing across the heel, which adds a unique look and visual interest.
The new colourway sees a return of the bold colours, having featured mostly in soft and earthy colours of late. The bright blue, in two shades, and orange hues are contrasted against the black.
As with the previous sneakers in the range, the new sneaker has a BOOST midsole. It offers drop-in midsole for the ultimate underfoot cushioning in wear. Underneath you’ll also find the ever-present rubber on the gum sole.
The adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 Bright Blue will carry a retail price of R4,999. It will be available online at adidas.co.za. The sneaker will also be available at Shelflife stores, both in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Sales at Shelflife will be via raffle.
If you’re keen to get your hands on the adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 Bright Blue, have your fingers ready on 24 April 2021 from 8am. They’ll sell out in now time.
