The Air Jordan 1 High OG "Deep Royal Blue" presents a fresh twist on the iconic design, yet it might strike a chord of nostalgia.

Jordan Brand is gearing up for an incredible year in 2025. The Air Jordan 1, Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe and the silhouette that kicked off a global sneaker phenomenon, will turn the big 4-0 next year. To celebrate, the brand is going all out with special releases, including more Travis Scott collaborations and the return of beloved colourways like the “UNC” AJ1 in a Reimagined form. Adding to the excitement is the upcoming Air Jordan 1 High OG “Deep Royal Blue,” a fresh drop that might feel somewhat familiar to long-time fans of the model.

A Closer Look At The Design

Much of the design’s colour blocking and materials still remain under wraps. However, the official colour listing of White/Black-Neutral Grey-Deep Royal Blue-Muslin suggests a classic, versatile look that might remind some of the Fragment AJ1 collaborations from previous years.

And if we are going on speculative mockups from sneaker insiders @zsneakerheadz and @houseofheat, the design could even recall the Union collaborations from 2018. However, these are just speculations for now, and we may need to wait for more official information or leaked images closer to the release date to get a concrete idea.

Air Jordan 1 High OG “Deep Royal Blue” Release Details

Currently, this new colourway is slated for a February 2025 release on Nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers. The shoes will be available in full family sizing, priced at $180 for men, $140 for grade school, $85 for preschool, and $70 for toddlers.

In the meantime, there are plenty of other AJ1 gems to keep you satisfied until then. Sneakerheads can look forward to the Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Coconut Milk Black” and the Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Croc”, both slated for 2024. And remember to stay tuned to Sneaker Fortress for all your sneaker news and reviews.
