Although the Air Jordan 1 started as a basketball legend, it has gracefully stepped into the fashion world, combining its sporty heritage with a range of sophisticated styles. Over almost four decades, this fusion has resulted in some stunning designs – and the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Croc” perfectly fits into this box. This pair features a black crocodile-embossed leather upper and a timeless design ready to add elegance to any sneaker lineup.

A Closer Look at the Sneaker

Sporting a dark triple black colourway, the Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Croc” achieves a sleek and refined look, making it even suitable for slightly dressier occasions. However, it’s definitely the choice of materials on this pair that makes it absolutely sublime.

The base is made of tumbled leather while gleaming black crocodile-embossed patent leather adorns the toe, eyestays, side Swooshes, and heel.

Adding a touch of extra flair, a large chrome Jumpman lace dubrae complemented by the white branding on the heel and tongue, providing the only hint of contrast against the monochromatic design. Finally, the design rests on a black sole unit to complete the sophisticated look.

This chic iteration of the Jordan 1 Low offers a more lavish take on the classic silhouette, perfect for those aiming to elevate their sneaker collection with a hint of elegance. But unfortunately, this pair is only available in women’s sizes, so all the gents out there might feel a tad disappointed when these beauties hit the stores.

Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Croc” Release Details

This lovely women’s exclusive release will be available on Nike.com and at select Jordan retailers in Fall 2024, priced at $125 USD. The exact release date is yet to be announced, so stay tuned for updates.

In the meantime, why not explore other exquisite tonal Jordans like the Air Jordan 4 RM “Light Legend Brown”? Or, keep an eye on the beautiful Air Jordan 3 “Lucky Shorts”, releasing next year in honour of Air Jordan’s 40th anniversary.
