Jordan Brand will celebrate its 40th anniversary next year with a series of exclusive Rare Air sneaker releases. After a gradual unveiling of these designs, we now have a clear view of the Air Jordan 1 High OG Rare Air in  “Deep Royal Blue.” Even though the colourway initially seemed simple, we finally get a good look at the special details that will undoubtedly make these popular with Jordan fans.

A Closer Look At The Design

First, the stylish colour palette for the upcoming Air Jordan 1 design includes white, black, neutral grey, deep royal blue, and muslin. The sneaker’s base colour is crisp white, with Neutral Grey suede touches on the collar and Deep Royal Blue accents on the overlays.

But what distinguishes this pair from your typical AJ1 release is the cool “Nike Air” Wings logo on the left shoe’s lateral collar, as well as the red layer at the base of the black Swooshes that can be revealed with wear. It’s the timeless colour scheme and clever details that will likely make this Air Jordan 1 design a huge hit when it’s released. Sure, they are somewhat reminiscent of the Union x AJ1 design, but that only adds to their desirability, in our opinion.

Air Jordan 1 Rare Air “Deep Royal Blue” Release Details

April 2025 will see the release of this unique Rare Air AJ1 on Nike.com and a few Jordan Brand stores. The fact that it will come in full family sizes and cost $180 for men, $140 for grade school, $85 for preschool, and $70 USD for toddlers only adds to the excitement of this release.

In the meantime, feel free to check out more from the AJ1 lineup in the upcoming months, including the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Legend Blue”, Air Jordan 1 High OG “Satin Shadow”, and the Air Jordan 1 High Method Of Make “Archaeo Brown”. While you’re at it, make sure to follow us at Sneaker Fortress for more sneaker drops and reviews.
