2025 has been an incredible year for Jordan collabs. Sneakerheads have been treated to the return of fan-favourite releases, like the Undefeated x Jordan 4s, luxe Swarovski-covered team-ups on the Jordan 1, and even fresh, bold pairs like Awake NY’s “Arctic Pink” Jordan 5s. But even with all the official heat that’s been dropping this year, there’s always room in the sneaker closet for really great custom sneaker designs. One of the pairs we’ve had our eye on is Shoe Massacre’s luxe Louis Vuitton Bandana Air Jordan 1 Highs.

Why Has There Never Been An Official Louis Vuitton And Jordan Collaboration

Since Virgil Abloh first applied the LV monogram to Nike’s Air Force 1 sneakers in 2022, sneakerheads have been waiting (and woefully longing) to see an official collab on the Jordan 1 High. Of course, with Abloh’s passing and adidas affiliate Pharrell Williams taking the helm as creative director at the luxury fashion house, the wait is likely to drag on for quite some time. That said, there are plenty of custom designers like Shoe Massacre that have been filling the void by creating their own takes on a Louis Vuitton Jordan 1 High…this one just happens to be a little different from the rest.

The Style Is Different To Other Louis Vuitton x Jordan Customs

I’m not sure about you, but the LV x AJ 1 Highs that generally appear on my social feeds are most often dressed in the high-end brand’s signature monogrammed leather (dark brown, of course). This pair, on the other hand, borrows from the tie-dyed Bandana Blue fabrics featured on a number of LV garments in 2022. Honestly, we wholeheartedly welcome the change. But there’s definitely more to the shoe than just its unique LV fabric.

The sneaker is made of Italian calfskin leather with exotic matte white and royal blue alligator skin on the toe, quarter panels, and collar. Each pair is finished off with blue lambskin lining to make sure they’re just as luxurious on the inside as they are on the outside, and Shoe Massacre has even embossed its own branding on the tongue tags for a custom touch.

What Is Shoe Massacre?

If you don’t already know them by now, Shoe Massacre is a sneaker customisation brand based in Charlotte, North Carolina. They are well-known for producing high-quality hand-made designs that are tailored to their clients’ exact demands. You get to select the silhouette, colours, and materials that you prefer. Of course, with all the attention to detail they put into their shoes, it takes around 4-10 weeks for them to complete a custom order like the LV Bandana AJ 1 High. But their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed by their loyal followers and clients.

What Fans Are Saying About The Louis Vuitton Bandana Air Jordan 1 High

I know, I know; a price tag that high is definitely intimidating, but we have to remember these shoes are covered in premium materials and are hand-made with impeccable craftsmanship. Plus, who knows when we’ll actually get an official team-up from Louis Vuitton and Jordan Brand?
