Sneakerheads Can’t Stop Talking About The Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Toe”

Jordan Brand has added a new Air Jordan 1 "Black Toe" offering to its 2025 lineup, but this time in low-top form.

Most of Jordan Brand’s major releases for 2025 have already been revealed, but the label has also been adding a number of intriguing under the radar releases to its lineup. One such pair is the Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Toe,” which might serve as a helpful comfort buy for anyone who happens to catch an L on the “Reimagined” high-top version of the colourway, which is also dropping this year.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

Although this low-top “Black Toe” AJ1 appears comparable to its beloved predecessor, a few minor details are different.

Sneakerheads will notice an unexpected splash of black on the tongue, along with black nubuck on the toe panel, eyelets, and Swoosh. To add even more individuality, the shoe features a jewel-like Wings logo at the heel.

However, the remainder of the design is rather standard, with red leather at the ankle and heel and a white leather base. The timeless Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” look concludes with the addition of a white midsole and red rubber outsole below.

What may disappoint fans is the fact that this version of the shoe will stick to the newer AJ1 Low shape rather than that of the OG design that fans pine after. Yet despite this minor setback, the allure of the classic “Black Toe” colourway cannot be denied. Sure, it may not be the “Black Toe” reimagined, but it’s nonetheless another interesting take on the 1985 original.

Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Toe” Release Details

This low-top variant of the popular colourway is expected to be available on Nike.com and select Jordan stores in the spring of 2025. However, exact details and pricing have yet to be confirmed.

But even as we eagerly await the release of the Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Black Toe ‘, we can’t help but look forward to more exciting Jordan releases in the spring. Keep an eye out for the Air Jordan 12 ‘Flu Game ‘, the Jordan 4 RM ‘Easter’, and the Air Jordan 4 ‘Seafoam ‘.
