Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Method of Make Satin Earth’: Satin So Smooth, It’s Almost Too Cool for Earth

Jordan Brand will introduce a satin iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Low Method of Make series in 2025, and we may need a moment to adjust.

The Air Jordan 1 Low Method of Make’s designer-like details have certainly captivated the female market in just one year of the model’s introduction. But 2025 brings a new chapter for the series as Jordan Brand unveils a unique satin iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Low Method of Make. And one of the first colourways sneakerheads can look forward to will be this deep “Earth” shade.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

Although the adage “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” could certainly be applied here, we can appreciate the brand’s willingness to adapt the design to contemporary trends. The biggest change in this new version of the Method of Make AJ1 Low is the materials. Where the original release featured a leather upper and detailing inspired by luxury handbags, this revised design is an ode to the season’s trendy puffy jackets with its satin-like neoprene upper. Stitch lines have also been hidden to create the plush, padded style seen on the outerwear staple, while branding takes on a debossed finish.

Everything is kept tonal and minimalistic, with a rich “Earth” colourway that appears to be showing up on a few other releases on Jordan Brand’s roster for next year. As for down below, the pair finishes with a matching brown sole unit for a unified look from top to bottom. It might take a minute to get used to the new style, but once you do, you’ll appreciate the unique take on the classic silhouette.

Air Jordan 1 Low Method of Make Satin “Earth” Release Details

This stunning satin-covered sneaker will be available in Spring 2025 at Nike.com and select Jordan retailers. As with previous Method of Make offerings, this pair will be available in women’s sizes for $135 USD.

Other women’s exclusive Jordans to look forward to next year include the Swarovski Air Jordan 1 High and Lows, the “Seafoam” Air Jordan 4 and a collection of beautiful pink Jordans for Valentine’s Day. So, keep checking back here at Sneaker Fortress to get the latest on these releases and much more.
