Jordan Brand is particularly protective when it comes to its beloved Air Jordan 11 model. Since its 1995 launch, the silhouette has seen very few collaborations, with just a few being granted the privilege of creating their own unique take on the classic silhouette. But perhaps a change is in order. Sneaker artist Javornie Brathwaite recently created an Air Jordan 11 concept inspired by Miles Morales from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and now we need Jordan Brand and Marvel to collaborate with Brathwaite to officially release these incredible sneakers.

A Closer Look At The Design
It doesn’t seem out of the question for Jordan Brand to work with Marvel on another sneaker for the franchise’s upcoming threequel, especially after they celebrated the release of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse with the limited edition Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Origin Story” collaboration in 2023. And judging by the thousands of Instagram likes Brathwaite’s design has received, we’d say that fans are undoubtedly in favour of a Miles Morales Air Jordan 11 design.
The sneaker’s upper is made of tumbled black leather, with dark black patent leather mudguards just below. A blacked-out sole unit and red web patterning on the upper then ensure that the pair faithfully resembles the Spider costume worn by Morales in the comics and films, while a red outsole and Jumpman branding complete the nods to his signature palette.
And, like the AJ1 collab before it, the Miles Morales Air Jordan 11 should debut on the beloved character’s feet in the upcoming Beyond the Spider-Verse threequel—and fans should undoubtedly get the chance to add these to their own sneaker collections. For now, this is all wishful thinking and we are all just patiently waiting for the final instalment in Miles Morales’ tale. However, you don’t have to wait that long to own a pair of these stunning sneakers by Brathwaite.
