Spider-Gwen Takes Over the Nike Dunk Low in Breathtaking Design

Stomping Ground transforms the classic Dunk Low with bold colors and web-slinging flair inspired by Gwen Stacy.

While there are plenty of custom and official sneakers wearing the traditional Spiderman colours, our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Gwen hardly ever gets her moment in the spotlight. Thankfully, these “Spider-Gwen” Nike Dunk Lows by Stomping Ground Customs are here to give the stylish heroine her due recognition in the sneaker world.

"Spidergirl" Nike Dunk Low

While Gwen Stacy’s signature superhero suit is definitely the inspiration behind this look, the creative minds at Stomping Ground Customs opted to emphasise the pink hues even more. The overlays are covered in a bubblegum pink, which is perfectly balanced by a clean white base.

Black accents, like the spiderweb details across the overlays and the spider logo on the toe box, are spread throughout the design. But the standout feature is, without a doubt, the deconstructed side Swooshes cleverly redesigned to represent a web shot by Spider-Gwen. There are also added details on this pair that give it an old-school comic-book vibe.

Sadly, this pair isn’t on SGNY’s list of available custom creations, but you can always request the sneaker artists to craft a similar design just for you. Prices at Stomping Ground Customs range from $485 to $935 USD, but may increase depending on the design’s complexity and the base model you choose.

There are also other Spidey-themed custom sneakers available for purchase on the SGNY website that are certainly worth exploring.

Meanwhile, feel free to check out more superhero-themed kicks here on our site. From Batman Air Jordan 1 Lows to Deadpool-inspired Air Jordan 4s and even the Deadpool & Wolverine Nike Kobe 6s.
