As we inched ever closer to the highly anticipated release of Deadpool & Wolverine that July, there was an upsurge in sneaker designs inspired by these legendary characters flooding our social media. But while an official collaboration with any major brands has yet to be confirmed (excluding the Reebok & Marvel team-up on the cool X-Men ’97 sneakers), it’s hard to marvel at stunning custom creations like the Deadpool & Wolverine Nike Kobe 6s and not have our imaginations ignited.

This Is What a Louis Vuitton Air Jordan 1 Would Actually Look Like

The talented sneaker artist, Mamba Concepts, known for their innovative designs and attention to detail, has crafted two stunning pairs, each embodying the distinctive traits of these Marvel favourites.

The Deadpool-Inspired Nike Kobe 6 Design

Let’s start with Deadpool’s design. It features his signature red hue enveloping the scaly Kobe 6 base, masterfully shaded to mimic his iconic suit. Black detailing and accents throughout the design further enhance his unmistakable look. However, elements we are especially fond of are the deconstructed Off-White-style side Swooshes, mimicking the Canadian mercenary’s iconic katana blades. And let’s not forget the two white eyes on the heel, which beautifully encapsulate Deadpool’s cheeky persona.

Wolverine’s Bold Yellow and Black Kobe 6 Concept

On the flip side, you’re treated to a very vibrant Wolverine-themed design, decked out in his iconic yellow and black- though I will say, a touch of blue would nail his classic comic book essence and even his look from the upcoming film appearance. Noteworthy features on this pair include scratch marks running from the toe box to the midsole, along with striking Adamantium-inspired Swooshes that certainly can’t go unnoticed.

Special Packaging Makes These Custom Sneakers Even Better

Plus, the packaging of these pairs doesn’t disappoint either! Each set is tucked into a beautiful box adorned with captivating artwork of Deadpool and Wolverine on the lids. It’s so striking that it’s difficult not to wish for a broader release of these magnificent custom designs. And although they are designed as individual pairs, imagining them worn as a mismatched set for an exceptionally unique and playful appearance is effortless.

How To Order The Deadpool & Wolverine Nike Kobe 6 Customs

Thankfully, if you’re eager to snag a pair of these Deadpool and Wolverine Kobe 6 sneakers, all you have to do is reach out to ᴍamba ᴄoncepts on Instagram (@mambaconcepts) to have your custom pair made. While details on pricing and availability are scarce, it’s definitely worth asking about these stunning kicks (or even something similar), especially if you’re a fan of the MCU film.
