Who doesn’t love the cartoon duo, Tom & Jerry? These two characters have been at each other’s throats for decades. Although fans have certainly seen these icons of the small screen immortalised in all sorts of merch over the years, we bet you’ve never seen them quite like this before. Introducing the Air Jordan 1 “Tom & Jerry” sneakers, a unique split sneaker concept design from our very own designers at Sneaker Fortress. It’s about time that Tom & Jerry made their way onto a pair of the world’s most iconic sneakers, and what better way than to have them opposite each other on each foot?

A Split Sneaker Design Inspired by Tom & Jerry

As mentioned earlier, this incredible sneaker design splits the iconic duo into separate shoes, with Jerry dominating the left shoe and Tom receiving the limelight on the right. And to bring these beloved characters to life, their characteristic colours are used to decorate each of their specific designs.

The Jerry-Inspired Air Jordan 1 Left Sneaker

The left sneaker, representing Jerry, is dressed in white, brown and dark grey hues that instantly conjure up his image.

The base is a smooth white leather that takes its cue from his big cartoon eyes. In contrast, a beautiful caramel brown hue takes over the overlays that, of course, match the colour of the cute but cunning mouse’s fur. Also present are touches of dark grey on the Swooshes, laces and back of the tongue, which draw their inspiration from Jerry’s outline.

The design is then finished off with a brown midsole and lighter brown outsole that draws inspiration from the dual tone of the fur on his body and underbelly. The level of detailing is quite impressive!

The Tom-Inspired Air Jordan 1 Right Sneaker

On the other hand (or foot in this case), the right sneaker, representing Tom, showcases his classic grey and white colour scheme. Again, the sneaker’s base is white, giving a nod to the white accents on Tom’s face, tail and paws. This crisp colour covers all the same regions as Jerry’s, tying the two designs together to create a harmonious pair.

Grey then covers everything else, from the toe, mudguard and eye-stays to the ankle flap, heel counter and Profile Swooshes, creating a cohesive and balanced look that is unmistakably Tom’s. Finishing off the design is a brown midsole and outsole—a subtle nod to Jerry amidst Tom’s design and a fitting culmination for these “Tom & Jerry” sneakers.

Special Packaging Designed for the Tom & Jerry Sneakers

A pair this unique requires extra-special packaging to match, and our designers have delivered just that. They’ve envisioned a butter-yellow box with red branding, featuring a playful illustration of the iconic duo at the top. Honestly, this box alone has me wishing this concept were real!

Celebrating Tom & Jerry’s 86th Anniversary

This would definitely be a fitting tribute to the duo for their 85th anniversary this year (2026). Now we can only hope the folks at Warner Bros. and Jordan Brand are paying attention!
