The Jumpman Label has produced various popular denim sneakers throughout the years, but among the most sought-after would have to be their 2007 female-exclusive Air Jordan 1 low release and, of course, the three distinct versions of their coveted Air Jordan 4 collaboration with Levi’s from 2018. While it may seem impossible to follow up on the popularity of these iconic denim-covered releases, the brand is slated to debut a new Air Jordan 4 “Denim” design in 2025.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
Light and dark denim are combined to create this new “Denim” Air Jordan 4 sneaker. A lighter blue wash covers the collar, tongue, and eyestays on the shoe’s upper half, while a darker shade adorns the toe, mudguard, and wing tabs below.
In keeping with JB’s 2022 AJ1 denim design, the sneaker also has gold lace dubraes and distressed detailing (which can be seen on the wingtabs). The design also makes a point to replace the model’s side netting with stitched denim panels similar to Levi’s take on the iconic silhouette. But, unlike their predecessor, you won’t find denim on the sole of these shoes. Instead, the design is completed with a white midsole and gum outsole.
While it might not be our preferred denim colourway from JB’s ever-growing collection, there’s no denying that it offers a more affordable option compared to Levi’s Denim AJ4s. Plus, there is definitely space to experiment with the look of this style. Below is a first look at the upcoming pair to get your creative juices flowing.
Air Jordan 4 “Denim” Release Details
The release date for tis denim-clad AJ4 is set for August 9, 2025. The sneakers will retail for $215 USD in women’s sizes on Nike.com and at a few other Jordan Brand stores.
