Despite a lack of imagery and direct references to Bugs Bunny, the AJ8 colourway has strong ties to the well-known Looney Tunes character. This is largely owed to the ‘Hare Jordan’ campaign of the 1990s. The iconic campaign saw the rabbit collaborate with Michael Jordan himself to produce several memorable ads promoting the shoe, cementing its place in sneaker history.
The sneakers, first introduced in 1993, have since become a mainstay of the Air Jordan collection, with retro versions released in 2003, 2008, and 2013 to the delight of many fans. This famous AJ8 colourway will be available in full family sizing come November 15, 2025. A pair in adult sizes will be available for $210 USD through Nike.com and select Jordan stores.
