Given Michael Jordan’s close ties to the University of North Carolina, it should be no surprise that the school receives some pretty amazing Player Exclusive designs each year. One of these designs that has recently caught sneakerheads’ interest is the flawless Air Jordan 9 UNC PE from 2024.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
The AJ 9 UNC PE may have flown under the radar when they were initially gifted to University of North Carolina athletes in 2024, but thanks to pictures by English Sole, sneakerheads are finally taking notice.
These sneakers offer a white leather base with the mudguard and heel wrapped in shiny University Blue patent leather. Navy accents can be found on the midsole, tongue tag, and inner lining, while the outsole finishes things off in crisp white.
These are arguably one of the most stunning AJ9 sneakers to date, and one we’re sure many sneakerheads and collectors would be eager to get their hands on.
Is The Air Jordan 9 UNC PE Up For Grabs?
Sadly, for anyone hoping to get their hands on a pair, the “UNC” PE is for players only, and there are just 50 pairs in existence.
However, if you’re a fan of Jordan 9s, the “Cool Grey” colourway will be back this year, along with the “Black Gum” and “Wheat” AJ9 boots for the winter.
