The world of sneakers has been buzzing with activities lately. Nike has taken legal action against The Shoe Surgeon for counterfeiting and trademark infringement. Meanwhile, Marvel fans eagerly await the release of the adidas Rivalry Low featuring Deadpool and Wolverine, just in time for their upcoming film. And amidst all this, Donald Trump has unveiled two new sneaker designs. While many might have dismissed Trump’s earlier foray into the sneaker industry as a fleeting gimmick, it’s clear he is intent on making a lasting impression with his unexpected ventures. And love them or hate them, Trump’s latest “Fight Fight Fight” sneakers are sparking conversation everywhere.
A Closer Look at the Sneakers
Trump, always the entrepreneur, has a knack for turning adversity into opportunity. Following an attempted assassination at his Butler, Pennsylvania rally, Trump unveiled two commemorative sneaker designs as a homage to the event.
The $299 “Fight Fight Fight” high-tops are available in both black and white. They feature the American flag on the collar and an image of Trump with raised fists and a bloodied face, which references the incident that occurred on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
Reports from CNN detail a harrowing incident where a rooftop shooter fired at Trump during his rally speech. While Trump suffered a minor injury to his ear, he famously rallied his supporters with the words “Fight Fight Fight.” And these very words now adorn the new sneaker line.
For collectors, there are only 5,000 pairs of the white design available, with ten being randomly autographed by Trump. For the black version, 4,700 pairs are up for pre-order, including 12 autographed ones. And tasteful or not, these sneakers are flying off the shelves.
