This year looks promising for X-Men’s most charming mutant, Gambit. Not only did he earn his own X-Men x Reebok sneakers in the recently released pack, but he also made an appearance in the much-talked-about Deadpool & Wolverine movie. Given we’ve spotlighted several custom pairs inspired by the film’s lead characters, it’s high time we put these fantastic Gambit x Jordan 1 sneaker designs by Dariyn Enriquez in the limelight.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

Inspired by Gambit’s iconic attire, the sneaker’s design remains true to the detailed comic book depiction, with an extra layer of flair added through Off-White design elements.

The shoe features a striking fuchsia-coloured leather base, contrasted by black leather overlays on the forefoot and blue suede accents on the rear. There’s also a dash of brown on the heel as a subtle nod to Gambit’s classic trench coat.

As touched upon earlier, these sneakers boast Off-White’s signature deconstructed Swooshes and exposed foam details, adding a final touch of sophistication to the look.

Overall, it’s a stylish tribute to a very stylish character and, no doubt, an essential addition to any Gambit fan’s collection.

How To Secure Your Gambit x Jordan 1 Sneakers

Fortunately, getting your hands on these amazing Gambit-inspired kicks might be easier than you think. If you’re keen to own a pair, you can reach out to Enriquez for a custom order. The sneaker designer frequently collaborates with well-known custom sneaker artists such as Think Scott Studios (@think.scott) and Strike Collective (@strike_collective_) to bring his extraordinary designs to life.

While you’re at it, why not explore other custom designs inspired by the Deadpool & Wolverine film? From Wolverine-inspired Air Jordan 1s to Deadpool AJ4s and even a custom Kobe 6 spotlighting both heroes, there’s plenty to inspire your next custom pair. And remember to follow us here at Sneaker Fortress for more customs and concepts inspired by your favourite characters.
