Jordan Brand and J Balvin are back with another mysterious collab. Sunday at Super Bowl LX, the Colombian singer showed up in person wearing a never-before-seen Air Jordan 4. Is this an upcoming pair? Is it an exclusive? Nobody knows what the plans are for this new Jordan Brand and J Balvin sneaker. But fans are already digging deeper.
Balvin paired the kicks with a Latino Gang-branded leather jacket. The jack was black. But the sneaker was a rainbow full of colors. Brown, pastel pink, green blue, yellow, red and black. It’s the colorful colorways we have come to expect from his Nike collabs featuring the Air Jordan silhouette.

That matters because Balvin already handed DJ Khaled an unreleased Air Jordan 4 collaboration back in December. That pair leaned into a black leather base. The Super Bowl version flipped the whole vibe: a brown base with a pink mudguard, and the placements rearranged so much you’d swear the shoes had been shuffled like a playlist.
There’s also a pre-distressed midsole with marble-esque touches, plus a mini Swoosh logo that isn’t supposed to be there if you’re the sort of person who knows an AJ4 panel map by heart. Heritage Nike branding sits in the mix too, just in case anyone still doubted this wasn’t a random customs job.

Reports have pointed to an expected style code of IW2872-700 and a Lemonade/Lemonade color combination, which sounds like a completely different shoe from the multicolor pairs we’ve seen so far. That opens the door to the obvious theory: maybe these multicolor looks stay friends-and-family, while the retail pair remains unseen as of publishing.
One thing is confirmed for sure: a J Balvin x Air Jordan 4 OG will land during Jordan Brand’s fall launch window, with a retail price expected at $225.
