Reverse Land has been steadily incorporating some of pop culture’s most iconic figures into their sneaker repertoire. From paying homage to legends like Bruce Lee with their Air Jordan 1 designs to honouring the colossal Japanese kaiju better known as Godzilla with SB Dunk Lows, they’ve ensured no beloved figure is left behind in their nostalgic journey to sneaker greatness. Their latest marvel? A Nike SB Dunk Low inspired by yet another iconic Bruce from film history— the menacing Great White Shark from the legendary film “Jaws.”

A Closer Look at the Sneaker

Fans of the 1975 classic summer blockbuster will undoubtedly admire this fantastic tribute to its infamous “villain.”

The sneaker showcases smooth and shiny black leather on the toe box, tongue, and collar, with the fabric even highlighting the heel tab and side Swooshes. However, it’s the grey leather on the toe, quarter panels, eyestays, and ankle flap that truly captures the shark-inspired design. The midfoot even boasts five gill-like leather panels, mimicking the slits on the side of a shark’s head.

Even the midsole is adorned in light grey leather, complementing the white rubber outsole, which oddly resembles shark teeth.

But the nods to the iconic Great White don’t end there. ‘Jaws’ is embroidered in the famous red hue on the heel, and the back of the tongue features an image of the Great White shark swimming up from the depths. This “Killer” sneaker should definitely be on your radar this summer.

Where to Cop the “Jaws” Nike SB Dunk Low

Thankfully, we don’t have to wait too long. These stunning kicks will be available for purchase from Reverse Land’s online store on 17th July 2024 at 10 am PST. They will be priced around $899 USD, but here’s the real challenge—only three pairs will be available for commission. So, if you want to sink your feet into this design, be prepared to act swiftly on release day.

In the meantime, check out other amazing designs from this brand, like their all-suede rendition of the Jordan 1 Retro High Off-White Chicago or their tribute to legendary comic book writer Stan Lee on the Nike SB Dunk Low. And stay tuned to Sneaker Fortress for more incredible customs and concepts.
