’tis the season for Nike’s basketball division to introduce its yearly holiday-themed sneakers. So far, this year’s seasonal themes include Kobe 9s in dashing red and a “Nightmare Before Christmas” edition of Devin Booker’s first signature shoe. However, one that is particularly eye-catching is Ja Morant’s upcoming Nike Ja 2 “Christmas” design with its tree-inspired detailing.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
It’s hard to go wrong with a sneaker design inspired by one of the most enchanting elements of the holiday season, and the Nike Ja 2 ‘Christmas’ does not disappoint. The sneaker has a light sage upper with Christmas tree designs etched into the lateral quarter panels. Metallic gold Swooshes then light up the shoe’s sides while extra gold elements are added to the JA branding on the tongue (which, we may add, now looks like a tree with a gold star at the top). Finally, a white midsole with a glittery translucent outsole completes the shoe’s design. And to top it all off, the pair comes with a gold Christmas tree-inspired hangtag that complements the festive tone of these kicks.
Nike Ja 2 “Christmas” Release Details
Starting on December 19, 2024, Nike.com and select stores will carry the Nike Ja 2 “Tree Topper.” With men’s sizes costing $130 USD, grade school sizes costing $105 USD, and preschool sizes costing just $90 USD, this festive edition is affordable for the whole family.
