The Air Jordan 1 has a rich history with vibrant red hues. From Justin Timberlake’s “Legends of the Summer” pack to the Jordan 1 Retro “Red Suede“, the silhouette has embraced various shades of red over the years. Yet, a Jordan 1 pair featuring Off-White’s distinct design aesthetics and luxurious scaly red leather is surprisingly hard to come by. Thankfully, Jhonnathan Vargas of @vdfel has rectified that with his custom design.
A Closer Look at the Sneaker
This exquisite pair employs exotic red leather to enhance the Air Jordan 1’s legendary silhouette. Featuring crocodile leather on the base and snakeskin leather on the ankle flap, quarter panels, and deconstructed Swooshes, the artist ensured the inclusion of only the finest materials to elevate this classic sneaker model.
Naturally, Off-White’s iconic zip ties also make an appearance in red, along with the brand’s signature thread details embellishing the Swooshes. And to complete the design, the sneakers boast a white midsole and a red rubber outsole, with a customised “ONEIL” text in Off-White’s signature style adorning the sole.
