There is no mistaking the unique design of Off-White’s footwear. The brand’s playful design elements make their collaborations with Nike stand out from the rest. Although we’ve seen this distinctive aesthetic injected into various Nike models, the Nike Zoom Kobe 5 has yet to see an official collaboration. But with creative custom sneaker designers like MambaConcepts paving the way, we’ve been given a tantalising glimpse of what a potential Off-White x Nike Zoom Kobe 5 “White” collaboration could look like.
Is an Off-White x Kobe Collab on the Cards?
It’s hard not to think about the possibility of a new collab, especially after all the triumphant Nike x Off-White partnerships that have previously unfolded. From their beloved Air Force 1 creations to their coveted Jordan designs, it’s clear that these two powerhouses have a successful track record together.
The signature Off-White “deconstructed” style has undeniably become a staple in the sneaker community and amongst custom sneaker artists. Thus, it’s surprising that Nike hasn’t considered a collaboration between Off-White and the iconic Kobe range yet.
We are sure many other sneaker enthusiasts have also wondered about future collaborations for Bryant’s coveted signature line. But, with rumours of another Kobe x Nike SB team-up on the horizon, the sky’s the limit for this legendary line of sneakers.
And in an era where the possibilities seem endless for Bryant’s iconic sneaker line, a collaboration between Off-White and Nike Kobe seems ever more desirable. Although we may have to wait patiently for an official team-up, you can catch a sneak peek of this dream team’s potential through the custom work of sneaker artist MambaConcepts and their creation of the Off-White x Nike Zoom Kobe 5 “White”.
The White x Nike Zoom Kobe 5 “White” Sneaker Design
Drawing from the visual appeal of the Off White x Air Jordan 1 “White”, launched in 2018, this Nike Kobe 5 presents an unsurprisingly recognisable design.

The shoe’s upper, beautifully crafted from leather and mesh, plays with a pleasing palette of white and sail colours. From the beige overtones on the collar and eyestays to the blend of white and cream on the medial side, every detail is thoughtfully considered.
Of course, it wouldn’t be an Off-White collab without their hallmarks, and they certainly have not been overlooked here. From the characteristic zip-ties and exposed foam to distinctive shoelaces in various colours, every detail adds to that classic Off-White charm.
Contributing to these features, the outer sole is subtly branded with the now-iconic sans-serif font in inventive quotation marks. Meanwhile, the distinctive “deconstructed” Swoosh, carefully stitched to the lateral sides with vibrant blue threads and further enhanced by the essential orange tag, rounds off the signature design elements.
The shoe is then brought together with a sail midsole and a white outsole for the perfect finish. Believe me when I say that this design, in its striking simplicity, perfectly captures the harmony between Kobe’s legacy and Off-White’s unique charm.
