Just when we thought Puma had delivered all the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sneakers we could ever want, the brand goes above and beyond, adding in a few more designs to cater to our obsession with the pizza-loving, skateboard-riding, crime-fighting heroes in a half shell. Fans can anticipate the release of three additional kicks in the month of February, with unique colours and designs inspired by the turtle brothers themselves, as well as a pair highlighting their supervillain foe, Krang.
A Closer Look At The Sneakers
First up, we have the Puma RS-X sneaker. This design is inspired by the Turtles’ sewer lair, including a black mesh base and green highlights to depict the ooze that changed them into the crime-fighting ninjas we know and love. Other noteworthy features include cracked leather eyestays and collars, an ooze-covered insole, and a manhole cover hang tag on the laces.
Following that is the collection’s centrepiece, a green Suede XL sneaker that represents our beloved turtle heroes. This pair offers a shell-like debossed pattern across the upper and a purple suede Formstrip for contrast. You also have an image of all four brothers on the insole and various lace dubraes depicting the faces of each Turtle.
Not to be overlooked is a Suede XL dedicated to the extraterrestrial Krang. His shoes have a mostly pink colour scheme, purple highlights throughout, and brain-shaped folds on the upper’s plush material. Of course, to complete the concept, this pair also features its own unique lace dubraes and a brain graphic on the insoles.
Each design offers something unique and fun for fans of the TMNT franchise to enjoy. It’s always entertaining to see how companies creatively bring various facets of the well-known characters to life, and these PUMA x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sneakers certainly deliver.
PUMA x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Sneakers Release Details
Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long to get our hands on these sneakers or the associated apparel, as the collection will be available through PUMA.com and select PUMA retailers starting on Friday, February 14, 2025.
Each pair will come in both adult and children’s sizes. The adult PUMA x TMNT RS-X sneakers will cost $120 USD or R3 799, the PUMA x TMNT Suede XL sneakers will cost $110 USD or R2 799, and the PUMA x TMNT Suede XL2 design will cost $110 USD or R2 599.
