Although many sneakerheads expected the magic to end with Jordan Brand’s 40th anniversary festivities this year, 2026 is building up to be another fantastic year of releases. The Jumpman’s spring roster alone boasts a number of highly anticipated drops, like the Air Jordan 5 “Wolf Grey” and Air Jordan 13 “True Red” aka “Chicago”. However, rumour has it that the Air Jordan 14 “Black/University Blue,” a fan favourite colourway that first debuted in 2006, will also be added to the mix.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
The Black/University Blue-Metallic Silver-White colourway is set to return in its original form for its 20th anniversary next year. Expect velvety black nubuck uppers with vibrant University Blue embellishments to brighten things up. The powdery blue hue appears on the design’s midsole, heel tab, and branding accents. Other features include a carbon fibre shank and medial air vents modelled after a Ferrari sports car.
Air Jordan 14 “Black/University Blue” Release Details
This chic Jordan 14 colourway will return in spring 2026. Expect it to be available through Nike.com and select retailers for $200 USD in men’s sizes and $150 USD in grade school sizes.
