Since the debut of Jordan Brand’s new remastered version of the Air Jordan 4 earlier this year, the low-top style has seen several colourways inspired by Jumpman Label classics. Whether it’s seen wearing the famed “Black Cat” look, a subtle homage to Off-White’s “Sail” Jordan 4, or even a nod to last year’s “Pine Green” Nike SB x AJ4, it’s been influenced by some of the best. Now, we get to see the new Jordan 4 RM silhouette draped in shades of black, grey, and red as a tribute to the classic “Shadow” and “Bred” colourways.
A Closer Look At The Design
Although the sneaker is more representative of JB’s iconic “Bred” (black and red) colour scheme, the dark grey suede overlays do give it a similar look to the 1995 Air Jordan 10 “Shadow. Other than that, the sneaker features smooth black leather on the base, matching canvas on the tongue and eyestays, and a semi-translucent TPU cage for extra support. The red accents placed thoughtfully on the tongue, branding, and outsole then give the sneaker a bright pop. And let’s not forget the pair’s sneaky hidden detail, a small bicycle icon tucked behind the heel flap. It’s easily one of the better non-collaborative colourways to land on the AJ4 RM thus far.
Air Jordan 4 RM “Shadow” Release Details
As of right now, this timeless AJ 4 RM colourway is anticipated to be released in the spring of 2025. The sneaker will be offered through Nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers in full-family sizes. A pair costs $150 for men, $120 for grade school sizes, $75 for preschool sizes, and $55 USD for the toddlers.
