As many may already know, Air Jordans are the longest-running and most iconic signature sneaker line in history. To our delight, the footwear brand continues to release new and exciting designs without any signs of slowing down. And joining the ever-expanding lineup of these beloved sneakers is the Air Jordan 5 “Midnight Navy”. This new release adds supple suede to the iconic silhouette introduced in 1990.

Originally designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 5 quickly became a favourite among sneaker enthusiasts for its unique shark tooth detailing and translucent outsole. Let’s not forget its innovative use of reflective materials on the tongue and upper, which give the sneaker an eye-catching look. This model, inspired by the World War II Mustang fighter plane, has undoubtedly come a long way since its debut. With each new iteration, the Air Jordan 5 continues to grip the attention of sneakerheads worldwide, and the upcoming Air Jordan 5 “Midnight Navy” release is no exception.

Yes, the Air Jordan 5 “Midnight Navy” promises to delight. Dressed in an enchanting spectrum of “Midnight Navy”, “Black”, and “Football Grey hues” this edition is a masterstroke in colour coordination.

The plush navy suede that adorns the shoe’s rear and tongue blends beautifully into the navy textile suede upper on the forefoot. The different suede textures deliver an opulent tactile experience that enriches the overall design. The navy hues find a harmonious partner in the crisp white midsoles, with playful splashes of colour on the forefoot teeth and a frosty-clear rubber outsole to complete the trinity. The design is given its final masterstroke with ash black netting, eye stays, and inner lining. This dark hue adds a dash of contrast to a sneaker otherwise dominated by a navy colour scheme.

Excellence lies in detail, so it’s worth mentioning that these beauties also house a visible Air-Sole unit in the heel, providing enviable shock absorption and cushioning. This ingenious technology minimises strain on your feet and joints, ensuring your daily wear remains a comfortable experience. The Jordan 5’s robust rubber outsole, featuring a multidirectional traction pattern, offers unparalleled stability, enabling swift and smooth manoeuvres for those who plan to wear these on the court. Moreover, it’s also equipped with a lace lock system that ensures a snug fit, eliminating any unnecessary discomfort.
