Every now and then, the sneaker gods that be bless us with a remarkable three-way collaboration that sneakerheads lap up. Whether it’s the Parra x Patta x Nike Air Max 1 from 2010, the BAPE x Undefeated x adidas Consortium from 2013, or the iconic Lance Mountain x Nike SB x Air Jordan 1s from 2014, these triple collaborations have always created a buzz. And now, sneaker designer John Trottier tantalises us with his concept for a partnership we never knew we needed: the KAWS x Levi’s Air Jordan 4.
A Closer Look At The Design
The proposed design meshes Levi’s crisp white denim with Brian Donnelly’s renowned artwork. From vibrantly coloured KAWS companions to a whirlwind of distinctive shapes and hues, the denim upper truly becomes a canvas for KAWS’ creativity. Keeping the colourful details in check, the sneaker’s eyelets, lining, and laces are minimalist in matching white.
Branding from all three collaborators is intricately incorporated into the design. The iconic Jumpman logo adorns the jeans-inspired tongue tags, Levi’s signature red tag dangles from the quarter panels, and KAWS’ distinctive “XX” marks are sprinkled throughout the shoe’s pattern. Completing the look, a sail midsole and gum rubber outsole wonderfully accentuate the upper’s detailing.
Is The KAWS x Levi’s Air Jordan 4 Available For Purchase?
If this triple collaboration between KAWS, Levi’s, and Jordan Brand were to become a reality, it would undoubtedly be a massive hit among sneakerheads. And given Jordan Brand’s rumoured 2025 sneaker lineup, such a move wouldn’t even be too far-fetched. However, for now, this design remains a delightful dream. If you’re keen on turning it into reality, reach out to Trottier on his Instagram for more information on how to snag a custom pair.
