The Air Jordan 19 range is not nearly as beloved as it should be, so we are taking a step to rectify that by putting the best colorways in the range front and center. These stunning sneakers are mostly the work of Tate Kuerbis, though he got help from the very solid design team of Jason Mayden, Josh Heard, Suzette Henri, and Wilson Smith. Most of the models in the range feature a tech-flex lace cover that resembles a snake in a very neat way. Like the range itself, the tech-flex lace cover is not appreciated sufficiently, so we are also shining a light on that. Here is the top 10 best Air Jordan 19 sneakers of all time.
Air Jordan 19 “Flint”

These sneakers are made with a white patent leather upper and a Tech Flex braided sleeve. As with the tooling throughout all Air Jordans, the midsole is made with light and durable Phylon foam. The Zoom Air cushioning is embedded perfectly inside. The tooling and the tech in this sneaker make it the best-selling Air Jordan 19 on GOAT, where you’ll find pairs priced from $338 to $599.
Air Jordan 19 Retro “Countdown Pack”

These sneakers boast an upper made of a sleek, black tech-flex that contours to the foot. Just as in previous renditions of this colorway, the color black remains predominant on the sneaker’s full-length Phylon midsole, wrapping around the back of the shoe in a way that seemingly accentuates the heel. Meanwhile, in another stark contrast, a smooth, red detailing imbues the pair from the sandy-colored outsole to the inner lining of the sneakers. Who doesn’t love a good “Bred”? They’re classic.
Air Jordan 19 OG “Midwest”

Black and red colorways tend to get most of our attention and love, but this white and red colorway is almost as gorgeous. It gives off the same premium, slightly vampy feel, but in a much lighter package. Sizes are available on GOAT for between $160 and $323, while Kicks Crew has them for $676.
Air Jordan 19 OG “West Coast”

These sneakers owe their name to being part of the first regional Air Jordan releases, which hit stores back in 2004. They are the “West Coast” counterpart to the “East Coast” sneaker that also dropped that same year. The original releases of this colorway have seen a couple of Retro releases to recapture their magic and place them back in the minds of sneakerheads.
Air Jordan 19 OG SE “Black Metallic Gold”

Sneakers just aren’t made like they used to be. This pair is basic, stylish, and certainly attractive. It elects to omit some of the features that the shape is usually celebrated for, but that just makes these even more lovely. Black is always in the running for Hype cop status, but when you pair it with this luxe, metallic gold shade, it becomes a surefire heiress pick.
Air Jordan 19 SE “Gary Payton Boston Celtics” PE

These stunningly beautiful sneakers make me think of Gary Payton’s brief time playing for the Boston Celtics in 2004 as a member of the Jordan Brand. This particular colorway, which I believe is Player Exclusive (PE), never made it to the retail shelf, which makes sense considering it was made for a guy who wore it on the court. These things are put together with a ton of really nice white leather (the inner part of the shoe is actually a really nice green and metallic gold) highlighted with a couple of very striking Boston Celtics colors, which are green and metallic gold. Moreover, the Green and Gold show up in some very unexpected places.
Air Jordan 19 OG Low “Black Cement”

Elephant-print leather rarely shows up in other styles beyond the Air Jordan 3, which might be the model most responsible for popularizing this colorway. The aspects we appreciate: The various design features of the sneakers—deconstructing the form, lowering the profile, eliminating the lace cover, and mixing it up with an added mudguard at the front—really make these sneakers unique. See the latest Air Jordan 3s here.
Air Jordan 19 OG Low “White Cement”

The basic shape here is very much still Air Jordan 19, even though we don’t have the patent leather toe and the lace cover. That aforementioned elephant-print leather is no ordinary nubuck touch, and it’s making these sneakers special.
Air Jordan 19 OG SE “West Coast”

Abandoning the tech-flex lace cover of the regular edition pair and altering the colors, the Air Jordan 19 OG SE “West Coast” trades out black for “Varsity Purple” in a handful of places, most conspicuously on the upper of the sneaker, while keeping the Zoom Air cushioning in the midsole.
Air Jordan 19 OG SE “East Coast”

The sneakers are made even more beautiful by the touch of grey they come in. The difference between the original pair and this special edition is so pronounced that you would be compelled to add both to your sneaker wardrobe. The way they make you feel is indescribable. If you want to find them, look no further than eBay. To see more amazing Air Jordan 19 sneakers: Sneaker Fortress
