American football is the uncontested king of sports in the USA. Football is everywhere, from backyard games to school fields and, of course, enormous stadiums crowded with enthusiastic spectators. So, it seems inevitable that the popular pastime will continue stimulating the creation of unique sneaker designs. But Jonathan Millar of @jsm_801_customs elevates football-inspired kicks to a luxurious level with his custom Air Force 1 sneakers.

A Closer Look At The Air Force 1 “Football”

The exclusive pair was meticulously crafted for the esteemed Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, using the very same game balls that graced the field in last year’s (2024) Super Bowl LVllll match between the Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.

The sneaker is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, meticulously composed of brown cowhide leather with the ball’s distinct pebbled texture running throughout, and the original stamps included on the toe box. The pair even has custom tongue tags, insoles, and lace dubraes to match the overall theme.

Finally, each shoe is adorned with a pair of white laces and a white midsole, giving the finishing touches of the design a clean look evocative of a football grip. It’s certainly one of the more upscale football-themed customs we’ve seen in a while, and we do not doubt that many fans would be “rushing” to add it to their collection.

How To Get Your Own Football-Inspired Sneakers

Although this stunning pair was a one-of-one design, you can reach out to Millar via his website or Instagram to have your own unique football-inspired sneakers put together.

In the meantime, you can peruse other sneakers inspired by popular global sports on our website, from the official Nike Air Max 1 “Racing” pack to these Nike Dunk Lows inspired by golf and Formula 1. And remember to follow us here at Sneaker Fortress for more custom and concept kicks.
