Travis Scott isn’t slowing down his sneaker takeover anytime soon. While fans are still buzzing about his scuffed-up Jordan Jumpman Jack “Triple Black” pair and the upcoming Fragment x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG, another unreleased sneaker surfaced: a never-before-seen Jordan Jumpman Jack “Navy/Yellow” sample. And this one isn’t just an earthy-toned La Flame project. It actually has a unique perforated design.
Leaked via @bear_town_sneaks on Instagram, the sample is dressed in a Michigan-friendly mix of deep navy suede and golden yellow leather. A grey Swoosh cuts across the upper, and stitched Cactus Jack branding runs across the forefoot strap. Flip the shoe around, and you’ll spot a quirky new stick-figure Cactus Jack logo on the heel, the first time it’s appeared on the Jumpman Jack line. Underneath, a splash of red on the outsole adds unexpected contrast, with “JACK” stamped across the bottom in the same punchy shade.

The interesting part is that this pair is a size 10.5. That’s Travis Scott’s exact size. Samples typically show up in size 9, so there’s a good chance this pair touched Travis’s feet before ending up online. That detail alone makes collectors drool, because history tells us most of Scott’s early samples never see a retail release. They’re prototypes, stepping stones in his design process with Jordan Brand.
And it’s not like this is the first time we’ve seen Jumpman Jack test runs. Remember the brown leather pair that looked more like an old football helmet than a sneaker? Or the alternate Chase B mockup that teased fans before his retail release? Those moments remind us that Scott’s process isn’t clean or linear. It’s trial, error, and the occasional wild experiment. Sometimes it’s a home run, other times it’s just a reminder of how far the model has come.

Scott himself has been fueling the hype. He stepped out in Paris at the Virgil Abloh exhibit wearing a never-before-seen triple-black Jumpman Jack, proving he loves testing unreleased pairs in the wild. Earlier this year, he even called the Jumpman Jack the “CJ1 T-Rexx,” then laced up a slime green version while courtside at the 2024 NBA Finals in Boston. That one is confirmed to release, but the Jordan Jumpman Jack “Navy/Yellow” sample? Don’t get your hopes up. As @bear_town_sneaks clarified, this one’s strictly an unreleased pre-production pair.
