Zack Snyder’s Justice League sneakers
For quite some time, Zack Snyder worked behind the scenes to get his director’s cut for Justice League (the Snyder Cut) brought to life. As it turns out, DC and PUMA had also teamed up behind the scenes and, to everyone’s surprise, announced the drop of a new PUMA Suede silhouette in all black.
The PUMA Suede, originally launched in 1968, was inspired by the Man of Steel’s alternative black suit from the Snyder Cut.
The Superman PUMA Suede sneaker
According to the description of the shoes on the DC Shop website, the PUMA Suede includes the Superman logo, which can be seen on the heel tab, and the PUMA Formstrip, which was inspired by the Black Suit textures. These textures provide perforated detailing on the sides. A lot of the design also features artist Jen Bartel’s work on the sneaker’s insole. The upper is crafted in an all-black suede with synthetic leather lining. It features a full lace closure, a woven label at the tongue, along with a custom comfort sock liner for extra cushioning for the wearer. The rubber midsole and outsole provide durable grip and traction.
The Justice League PUMA Suede sneaker will be released in unisex sizing shown in men’s sizes. This means that women should order in sizes 1.5 below for their corresponding shoe size. To further the limited-edition custom art, the sneakers are housed in a speciality Black Suit Superman box.
