Sneakerheads have long been swooning over the stunning design of the Air Jordan 1 High OG Rare Air “Cinnabar,” and with good reason. This sneaker has it all, from a stunning colourway to premium materials and even a few distinctive design elements that distinguish it from your typical Air Jordan 1s. If you’re looking to get your hands on one of Jordan Brand’s “Rare Air” releases for 2025, the “Cinnabar” colourway is definitely one to consider. You can find details regarding the sneakers and their release date provided below.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

First, I have to say, for a while now, we’ve been speculating about what the “Rare Air” detail on this Sail, Cinnabar, and Light Bone-coloured shoe will be, but leaked images have finally revealed a unique “Nike Air” marking on the medial collar–a feature you don’t see too often on AJ1 design.

Yet, the remainder of the shoe’s design is just as captivating as this distinctive branding element. It has creamy leather uppers, fuzzy suede embellishments on the collar and Swoosh, and doubled-up shoelaces that create somewhat of a sail and cinnabar swirl.

Matching blue rare air tongue tags and insoles, along with an aged sail and cinnabar sole unit, complete the entire look. This “Rare Air” design offers a plush and luxurious take on the classic Air Jordan 1 silhouette and will happily be welcomed into many a sneakerhead’s rotation in celebration of the model’s 40th anniversary.

Air Jordan 1 High OG Rare Air “Cinnabar” Release Details

Jordan Brand’s Rare Air AJ1 designs in this women’s exclusive colourway will be released on April 5, 2025. The sneaker will retail for $180 USD and be offered through Nike SNKRS and several other Jordan retailers.

But this year, sneakerheads can anticipate even more Rare Air releases, including a “Deep Royal Blue” AJ1, an AJ3 and an AJ4, but—perhaps most importantly—an AJ11. To keep updated with these releases and more, make sure to stay tuned to us here at Sneaker Fortress.
