Amid the excitement of Jordan Brand’s stellar in-line releases celebrating the Summer Olympics, the Jumpman team is also offering sneakerheads a chance to snag an exclusive Air Jordan 1 Mid collaboration with French design school Casa 93.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
This upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid “Casa 93” draws its creative flair from Seine-Saint-Denis, the home district of the design school, with its administrative identifier, “93”, serving as a key design element for the collaboration.
The sneaker starts with a clean white leather base, enhanced by sophisticated grey suede and textured blue leather overlays. Luminous green highlights adorn the inner lining, laces, and branding, infusing the design with the dynamic spirit of Seine-Saint-Denis.
Direct homages to the district are then clear with the “93” text split across the left and right heels and insoles featuring a graphic showcasing “Seine-Saint-Denis”, “Neuf Trois” (ninety-three), and “Casa 93” on the left foot. Plus, a metallic hangtag brings the design together, adding a sleek and polished touch.
The look is completed with black accents on the Swooshes and tongue, with the entire look set atop a white midsole and grey rubber outsole. While these may not be the top contenders for the best Olympic tribute, their unique design elements still make them quite compelling.
