Believe it or not, tomorrow (29th February) marks National Toast Day. While at first, it may seem peculiar to commemorate something as unassuming as toast, let’s just think about it for a moment. Toast may be simple—after all, it is just bread that has been heated until crisp and browned—but oh, the glorious possibilities that come with it! From avocado toast to cinnamon sugar toast or even just plain old buttered toast, there are numerous ways this humble breakfast staple can be elevated and enjoyed. And let’s not forget that this versatile food item’s appeal spans wide and far. From the cash-strapped college student to the wealthy business executive, toast knows no discrimination. So, we have raised a toast to this marvellous food in all its simple yet satisfying glory with the creation of our Air Jordan 6 “Butter and Toast” design.

So, What is National Toast Day?
Established in 2014 by the Tiptree World Bread Awards, National Toast Day is an annual nod to our love for toast and the various types of bread that give it its unique charm. Despite its UK roots, the day is celebrated enthusiastically across the ocean in the United States on the last Thursday in the month of February.
So, how do you take part in this deliciously distinctive day? Well, you could share your most-loved toppings for toast, post pictures of your toast creations to your social media feeds using the hashtag #NationalToastDay, or simply tuck into a warm, crisp piece of toast yourself.
Whether you cover it in delicious avocado, the timeless pairing of butter and jam, or even something a bit more daring, National Toast Day is the perfect excuse to indulge in this beloved breakfast staple and celebrate its delicious versatility.
Or, if you are like us, you could create your very own concept inspired by this delightful treat.

It’s all in the Details of the Air Jordan 6 “Butter and Toast”
The Air Jordan 6 “Butter and Toast” is covered in soft brown suede. This suede is perfectly outlined by dark brown trimmings, capturing the crusty appearance of a slice of toast. In case you are wondering, it’s the rubber tongue, heel tab, and midsole that are all highlighted in this deep brown shade.
From this toasty base, rich, buttery yellow accents steal the show. They fill the spaces on the lace locks, inner lining, heel tab and midsole. You can’t help but think of fresh toast and butter when you see the vivid colour combo.
To put the final touch on this delectable design, a white and brown rubber outsole sits below. There’s also a bit of added interest courtesy of the icy white translucent sections on the outsole.
Chances of Grabbing the Air Jordan 6 “Butter and Toast”
As we mentioned before, these kicks are only a concept design crafted by our team to celebrate everything toast. However, even though this colourway is entirely imaginary, a toast-themed sneaker from the Jordan line would be a much-welcomed addition.
If you think of it, the Air Jordan 6 “Butter and Toast” model isn’t such a far cry considering Nike’s past experiments with breakfast-themed designs. However, regardless of whether this colour scheme becomes an actual edition, we hope our concept design brings a smile to sneakerheads and toast enthusiasts alike as they imagine the delicious combination of butter and toast on their feet (but definitely not literally).
