Patta has a storied history of collaborating with Nike to create some truly breathtaking sneakers. But their most stunning work has undoubtedly been on the Air Max silhouettes. Whether they’ve added unique colourways or premium materials, Patta always brings a fresh perspective to these classic silhouettes. And this Air Max 1 “Earth Tone” by Polish shoemaker Margiello (@margiello_) is the perfect homage to Patta’s distinct style.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
These custom kicks use a palette of earth tones reminiscent of the Air Max 1 “Valentine’s Day” colourway from 2024 but brought to life in Patta’s distinct design language. The base is covered in natural jute, while the overlays showcase a mix of earthy browns and subtle pink overlays.
Next, premium Italian suede with a long nap adorns the mudguard in a dark brown hue, while shaggy elements enhance the side Swooshes and the tongue tag.
Finally, a white midsole and dark brown outsole complete the look, with a hint of cherry red on the visible air bubble in the heel, which mirrors the red accents on the sneakers’ tongue.
The result? A stylish sneaker that impeccably represents Patta’s style. It’s definitely a head-turner and a must-have!
Is The Air Max 1 “Earth Tone” Available For Purchase?
Unfortunately, this unique piece was crafted exclusively for one of Margiello’s clients. However, if you’re in the market for a custom pair, you might be able to commission a similar design on your preferred silhouette.
Bear in mind that a pair from this skilled artist could set you back at least €1,400. Still, one can hope that these one-of-a-kind, stylish sneakers might someday be available for all to enjoy.
While the Air Max 1 ‘Earth Tone’ may not be available for purchase, there’s a world of Margiello’s remarkable creations waiting to be explored.
