The spooky season is slowly creeping up on us again, and while Nike’s Halloween lineup for 2025 has yet to be revealed, there are always custom sneaker artists to turn to for creepy designs. One sneaker that still haunts our minds is John Trottier’s Union x Bephies Beauty Supply Air Jordan 1 “Freddy”.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

From the name itself, it’s clear that this concept is a combination of Nike’s infamous “Freddy Krueger” SB Dunk Low (which you can read more about here) and the stylish Union and BBS collaboration from 2023.

The sneaker offers the same striped sweater pattern on its base as seen on the Freddy Nike Dunks, as well as the metallic silver Swooshes and red-splattered brown leather overlays that have become synonymous with the pair. But added to these details are Union and BBS’s intricate woven pattern wrapped around the entire shoe. This little detail gives the design a slashed and stitched effect that fit neatly into the horror-inspired theme.

Completing the look is a sail midsole and black rubber outsole, again tipping a hat to the Freddy Nike SB Dunk Lows. We would never have thought of combining the two designs, but the result is Halloween perfection.

Is The UNION x Bephies Beauty Supply Air Jordan 1 “Freddy” Available For Purchase?

Unfortunately, this hauntingly beautiful sneaker is only a concept design. But you can reach out to Trottier via Instagram to enquire about commissions.

In the meantime, check out more UNION-inspired customs and concepts, including the low-top Air Jordan 1 “Storm Blue” and the “Storm Blue” Jordan Jumpman Jack design.
