NBA star and power forward for the New Orleans Pelicans, Zion Williamson, is at it again, releasing a beautiful pair of sneakers with Nike and the Jordan Brand. The latest addition to his signature range, the Jordan Zion 3, is a stunning homage to nostalgia and technology. Introducing the Jordan Zion 3 “Z-3D”.
These sneakers feature a colourway that includes shades like Football Grey, Black, Flash Crimson, and Chlorine Blue, all of which come together in a trippy design to create a stunning 3D effect that baffles the eye and the mind.
Starting from the bottom, the outsole comprises clear semi-translucent rubber with herringbone traction and a white foam midsole. The sole unit features great technology to make the sneaker range a serious performer on the court, including tech that increases stability and control and even affords the wearer a bounce-back effect.

The sneaker’s upper is staggering, leaving the eye and mind baffled by the sheer mastery of the design. It is decorated with a stunning black pattern that features blue and red drop shadows, the technology that allows the pattern to trick the mind into appearing 3D.
The laces share the same aesthetic: black bordered by blue on the one side and red on the other, backed by the stunning white tongue with the same patterns as the upper embossed into it. Of course, the inner lining of the tongue reads the signature Zion line, “SHOCK THE WORLD”. The sneaker’s insole features the same pattern with strategically hidden Jumpman logos in a solid blue from within the sneaker.
The sneaker’s spine features the same patterning as the rest of the sneaker, but instead of being printed on or embossed into the fabric, it is embroidered around the bold, black ZION logo on the back.
The enjoyable part about these sneakers is the box and the unboxing experience you get when you purchase them. Not only is the box attractive on its own, but it also comes with a pair of 3D glasses and a QR code housed inside, both of which can be used to access a 3D digital journey that shares details about the intricate pattern on the sneakers.

Release Date and Price
The Jordan Zion 3 “Z-3D” sneakers are gearing up for a February 2024 release, hitting select Jordan Brand retailers in-store, online, and through Nike.com on the 20th. The sneakers will be available in Men’s and Grade School sizes at $150 and $110, respectively.
