Can you feel it? The festive buzz is slowly enveloping us as we once more approach the most magical time of the year. You can almost hear bells jingling in the distance and see the sparkling lights that adorn the streets. And to add to the Yuletide cheer, what could be better than a one-off, seasonally-themed designer sneaker? Well, Jeremy Lacin of @lacinenterprises has crafted the perfect sneaker for the occasion – the Grinchmas Air Jordan 1 Low.

There is no doubt that we have all come to know and love the Dr. Seuss’ classic, How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Whether you’ve lovingly flicked through the pages of the book, been mesmerised by the live-action adaptation or enjoyed the latest animation version, the story of the Grinch has become a beloved part of our holiday traditions. Naturally, the Grinch’s characteristic aura of vibrant greens and reds, symbolising his iconic fur and Santa hat, has become a distinctive part of this lore. And this Grinchmas AJ1 Low custom sneaker takes this signature aesthetic and runs with it.

Its design, underscored by a striking green, red and white colour scheme, captures attention. The sneaker features stunning snakeskin textured leather in a rich lime green, contrasting beautifully with the soft, fluffy, light green faux fur material covering the shoe’s base. This fusion of textures and hues is undoubtedly Grinch-inspired and adds a joyful vibe to the design.

The Santa hat-inspired red accents then make their way onto the shoe through the patent leather Nike Swooshes adorning the sides of the shoe. Red also appears on the personal branding embroidered onto the heel and features again on the laces and inner lining.

The design is perfected with a lime green insole that blends seamlessly into the exotic leather on the shoe’s upper. The green midsole is then contrasted by a striking red rubber outsole for extra flair. Of course, the cherry on top of the sole unit is the white “Grinchmas” lettering that adorns the rear sides of the shoe. This little white detail also matches the white labels that adorn the sneaker’s tongue.

With their lively colour scheme and clever detailing, these Grinchmas Air Jordan 1 Low sneakers are the perfect choice for those looking to add a touch of whimsy and Christmas cheer to their footwear collection. Luckily, for any interested, these sneaker customs are available to purchase in a wide range of sizes through Lacin Enterprises’ official website. You can grab a pair of these customs for a price of $449 USD.

However, there’s only a one-week window for custom orders on these sneakers, so you will need to place your order soon to ensure you don’t miss out on this limited-edition holiday release. For those who do choose to order the Grinchmas sneaker, there is also a special gift promised with each purchase, although there are no specifics on what the gift will be.

It is also important to note that there is a six-week turnaround due to the custom nature of these handmade customs. This allows the artisans at Lacin Enterprises to craft each pair with attention to detail and the precision needed. Rest assured, the wait will be worth it when you receive your one-of-a-kind Grinchmas sneaker. Until then, don’t forget to follow us for more sneaker customs and concepts.
