A Ma Maniére and Nike worked together on the “Hand Wash Cold” project in 2019. The project resulted in the release of two Air Force 1 sneakers and a limited edition friends and family design the following year. Now, it seems as though the Air Jordan 3 will be the next silhouette to join the “Hand Wash Cold” series.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
James Whitner, the founder of The Whitaker Group, appeared on Complex’s Please Explain podcast on September 26, 2024 and showed off an Air Jordan 3 sneaker that echoed the design ethos of the original AF1 project.
The upper features dark black suede with purple touches on the mudguards and heel guards that are similar to what we’ve seen on a few of A Ma Maniére previous designs. Finally, the pair is finished with a sail midsole and translucent grey rubber outsoles for a slightly aged finish.
A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3 “Hand Wash Cold” Release Details
There is currently no confirmation that this pair will be available in stores, but given Whitner’s tease of the design during the recent podcast, it is possible that these sneakers could see a release next year.
Until then, fans can anticipate a hot lineup from Jordan Brand and A Ma Maniére in the upcoming months. A “Diffused Blue” Air Jordan 5 is scheduled for release in 2025, in addition to the Black and Fossil Stone AJ3 designs that are part of the current “While You Were Sleeping” collection alongside a beautiful AF1 pair.
