Are We Finally Getting A Travis Scott x Air Jordan 3?

Cactus Jack fans, your dream of a Travis Scott x Air Jordan 3 sneaker might be closer than you think.

Almost four decades later, and the Jordan 3 is still the silhouette that Jumpman fans just have to have. But what could possibly make this iconic Tinker Hatfield-designed sneaker even better? Well, a collaboration with Travis Scott, of course. Funnily enough, the 3s are one of the popular JB models that La Flame has yet to add his signature reverse Swoosh and Cactus Jack branding to. But is that about to change? Could sneakerheads finally be treated to a Travis Scott x Air Jordan 3?

In all honesty, rumours of a Travis Scott x Jordan 3 collaboration have been circulating since 2020, and Nike even felt the need to dismiss the false claims when they were first reported. But much has changed since then. Travis Scott’s Jordan 1 Low collaborations have slowed down dramatically; in fact, overall interest in the Jordan 1 is once again at a low. The rapper has also allegedly met with Adidas and Vans, raising concerns that he may be exploring new collab opportunities.

So, could all of this pave the way for one final major project? Or perhaps an AJ3 team-up to salvage the TS-JB partnership? Well, if we listen to leaker sites like @dropsbyleo, then this epic Jordan 3 collab “might be next.”

Of course, fans of the duo’s previous pairs seem to be thrilled about the possibility of this fresh offering. Instagram users left comments like “Need something new instead of just AJ1 lows” or even just “Need”. But that doesn’t mean that everyone is on board with the idea.

Others have posted everything from “Yea he do need to switch to Adidas he going though the whole Jordan’s numbers at this point” to “Yeah let’s not touch the 3s” or, more commonly, some form of trash emoji or gif.

Thankfully, someone pointed out that this is “old news, rumours for over a year now…” and, well, this could be exactly that: just rumours that may or may not come true.

If anything, we’ve heard this all before. Without confirmation from Jordan Brand, it’s simply rumours and speculation. But if this Travis Scott x Air Jordan 3 were to drop, would you be the first to cop?
