Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Lucky Green” Is So Bright You Might See It From Mars

Lil Yacthy's "Lucky Green" Nike Air Force 1 Low sneaker has brought back memories of one brand's contentious sneaker designs.

American rapper Lil Yachty may have begun his sneaker partnership with Nike on a divisive note. However, his “Lucky Green” Air Force 1 Low is sure to please a broader range of fans with its bold colourway and somewhat familiar design elements.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

The upcoming release is a clear departure from the rapper’s plain “White/Navy” “Concrete Boys” pair from last year, favouring a bolder look evocative of the glossy patent leather Air Forces that were everywhere in the 2000s (and perhaps giving a cheeky nod to Nigo’s Bape STA designs—yes, the same ones Nike sued over back in the day).

While these kicks were first spotted on Yachty’s feet at Coachella last April, YankeeKicks has now given sneakerheads a closer look at the design. The sneaker has complete patent leather construction with Lucky Green overlays, University Gold toe and quarter panels, and bold University Red Swooshes and branding—including Yachty’s distinctive ‘Concrete Boys’ symbol on the heel. The look is finished with a matching yellow midsole and red outsole, making it one of the most colourful takes on the silhouette we’ve seen in a while.

This lively shoe collaboration is expected to drop in summer 2025. The kicks will be available in men’s sizing for $130 USD via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.

This year, other standout Nike sneakers to look out for are the Undefeated x Nike Air Max 95 set, Nike’s GT Future sneakers, and the Nike Pegasus Premium “Black/Bright Crimson”. In the meantime, follow Sneaker Fortress for more sneaker drops and news.

Does the vibrant and glossy appearance of the Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Lucky Green” collaboration remind you of the noughties patent leather AF1 releases or Nigo’s Bape STA creations?
