A Closer Look At The Lilo & Stitch Sneaker Design
Sneaker Anime really nailed the look of this pair. The design is so good that it looks as if it could have been created right at the Nike SB headquarters in Oregon. You may recall that the skate brand’s “Verdy“, “Ungrateful Dead Bears”, and “Three Bears” Dunks all have the same fluffy base and contrasting fabric overlays as this Stitch design. Of course, here, the colour scheme and character details are what really set it apart.
The pair replicates Stitches’ signature blue fur with a hairy light blue foundation and dark blue overlays with delicate shading throughout. The tongue, inner lining, and swooshes then allude to the hue of his ears and tongue, while the sail midsole and blue rubber outsole imitate his teeth and nose. While there is still a long way before the film’s release, these kicks would be the ideal pair to wear to the premiere and show your support for the fuzzy little alien. I definitely need a pair of these!
