Nike SB has finally dropped the official look at the Bronx Girls Skate x Nike SB Dunk Low, and it’s every bit as detailed as the early leaks promised. This sneaker (a mix of Black, White, Challenge Red, Total Orange, Lucky Green, and Smoke Grey) is a special love letter to New York City and the women pushing skate culture forward in the Bronx.

Bronx Girls Skate, founded in 2020 by Kava Vasquez and Mel Ramirez, has grown into a movement that supports women, femmes, and gender-expansive skaters in New York. Their partnership with Nike Skateboarding feels overdue. And with this release, the duo stamps their names right on the insoles with personal quotes that remind you that these shoes are built on community.

Instagram comments are already rolling in: “Good cop for sure,” “These are clean in hand,” and, in true sneakerhead fashion, one user chimed in with “Not better than the Nardwuar’s but I’ll still cop.”

The upper sets the tone. A stingray-textured black leather gives the shoe its attitude, while a crisp white Swoosh slices through. Then comes the subway story. Each colored piping is borrowed straight from New York’s lifeline: the trains. Orange pays homage to the B and D, green wraps in the 4, 5, and 6, and red nods to the 1 and 2.

The details are where this collab shines. A metallic gold “NY” charm sits on the heel, echoing the city’s old subway token. Graffiti-inspired “BXGS” graphics hit the inner tongue, and the outsole keeps the train theme alive with a stamped motif. Look closer and you’ll spot Bronx branding, a globe, and those gold lace dubraes etched with “BXGS.” The left heel reads “The Bronx,” while the right one confidently claims “The World.”

Nike didn’t stop there. The laces (black and white sets) feature the full Bronx Girls Skate title right at the tips. A black midsole keeps things grounded, while a translucent rubber outsole finishes the look.

The price for the Bronx Girls Skate x Nike SB Dunk Low is set at $140, and the release is locked for Holiday 2025 at skate shops and Nike.com.
